My OSleeve is damaged! What do I do?Updated 20 days ago

If the OSleeve ripped or was damaged while doing some type of activity that might have damaged your smart ring, then we call that a 'protective event'.

That means the OSleeve did its job.

As a sacrificial protector, it may become irreversibly damaged in the process of protecting your smart ring

If that happens, let us know and we'll provide a discount code to reorder a new OSleeve.

What if I didn't recall any type of 'protective event'?

If you don't recall any type of 'event' that might have protected the smart ring, it might have happened without you even knowing it. Or it could be a defect. Either way, please get in touch via the live chat or by email at [email protected] and ensure you provide a photo of the rip.

We've personally had instances where we didn't realize there was a protective event.

For example, after opening boxes with a box cutter, we noticed a clean cut down the middle of the OSleeve later that day.
Well...we can tell you that it didn't appear on its own and once we made the connection that we were using a sharp tool to cut things, we realized we had saved our smart ring from an inadvertent cut without even knowing about it. We were able to continue using the OSleeve as normal for a long while before the cut spread...much like when you accidentally drop your phone and the screen protector breaks. You don't always need to get a new protector...as it will keep working until you're sick of the lines!

However, if you send photos and we assess the cut as a defect, we'll make it right and send a replacement.

Here is a diagram to help you describe where the issue is located.

In addition to a photo, this location information helps us document any trends in product damage that might indicate a product issue.
