Is the Luxe Clear perfectly transparent?Updated a year ago

We named Luxe Clear the way we did because it's not perfectly transparent. Unfortunately, there is no silicone rubber on this earth that we know of that can be called permanently transparent or optically transparent. 

While we used another material in generations 1.0 and 2.0 to ensure optical transparency (which was initially really beautiful), it had the downside of yellowing over time and being very easily stained. 

When we asked our tribe of OSleeve product testers whether they would be willing to sacrifice some optical clarity for resistance to color change, it was a resounding yes. 

So, that's what we did. 

We aren't here to hide behind this fact. We try to point out that Luxe Clear is slightly frosty wherever we can, including on our website product description, material comparison table, Instagram captions, and TikTok. We also have a TikTok video devoted to this. You can view it here.

Additionally, NONE of our Luxe Clear OSleeves images are doctored. They are the exact version that is sold commercially.

In the sunlight, the Luxe Clear OSleeve looks almost optically transparent. Your underlying smart ring will gleam through beautifully and you still get to enjoy the finish of that ring.

In the shade or at night, it might look more frosty but you can still see the color underneath.

Over time, it will become slightly more frosty/matte as the surface reacts to your skin oils.
